Therefore, it is always important to follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging. In principle, glues should be stored out of direct sunlight and away from sharp temperature fluctuations. They are most often stored between 5-25 °C. It should therefore be cool and dry, but we do not recommend storing it in the refrigerator. Prior to use, the glues must be allowed to adjust to room temperature, which may take too long if stored in the refrigerator. In addition, some refrigerators can be set to less than 5 °C.

Do not use the lash glue, like all other products, after its expiration date. The properties of the glue are no longer ideal, and not only will it be harder to work with and eyelash extensions will not last that long, but it could also cause serious health problems for clients.

Insufficient preparation before application

Before using the glue, it is necessary to shake all its components thoroughly. To avoid unnecessarily getting your hands tired, try the glue shaker, which will do all the work for you.

Also, don't forget to carefully remove and degrease natural lashes. Primer is used to remove even the smallest impurities. It is applied to micro brushes and the lashes are combed from the roots to the ends with them. Without proper cleaning of natural lashes, the glue will not adhere to them properly and eyelash extensions may fall off prematurely.

Incorrect humidity and temperature during application

Humidity and temperature should be monitored in the room where the eyelash extensions are applied. If the humidity is too low or too high, the glue will not dry as it should and the joints between the lashes will not last as long. Also beware of too much heat in the room, the glue will not cure properly. We recommend keeping the temperature in the salon around 23-25 ​​°C and the air humidity between 50-70 %. Special hygrometers and thermometers will help you with the measurement, and you can support the correct humidity with humidifiers.

Although everyone is used to dipping lashes in a drop of glue a little differently, it is still important to use the right amount. Too much glue will dry for a long time and poorly, too little will not ensure the correct adhesion of false lash to natural.

Incorrect drying speed of the glue

Lash glues can be divided into two categories - for beginners and for professionals. The glues for beginners dry for a longer time, so the lash stylist has more time to straighten the lashes correctly. Professionals who are already more confident then choose glues with a shorter drying time so that they do not delay them at work. It is therefore important to choose a glue with a drying speed that corresponds to our abilities and experience.

An important factor influencing the functionality of the glue is the glue holder. It must be made of special materials that do not change the composition of the glue and keep the drop in the cold for as long as possible. Mostly holders are made of stones such as jadeite, glass, or special polymers. It is also better to choose holders that will keep the glue in the shape of a drop for longer, thus preventing it from drying out too quickly.
